47G Zero Gravity Summit 2025
Full-service event production for Utah's premier national security technology conference — 2,200 attendees, Salt Palace Convention Center, Salt Lake City.
A convention center that needed to feel like mission control.
47G hosts the Zero Gravity Summit to connect builders, operators, and leaders advancing national security technology. The 2025 edition at the Salt Palace Convention Center was the summit's inaugural year at this scale — 2,200 attendees, 75 exhibitors, 58 speakers, and a speaker roster that included sitting governors, former cabinet officials, and national figures. They needed a production partner who could build an environment equal to it.
Our mandate was clear: a single main stage capable of anchoring two full days of keynotes, panels, and fireside chats — and an exhibit floor that made 75 organizations look like one cohesive industry. That's exactly what In The Event delivered.
The Challenge
The 2025 summit was the Zero Gravity Summit's inaugural year at this scale — and the production had to match it. Halls D & E of the Salt Palace accommodated 150 exhibit tables, a single main stage, and capacity for 3,000 people. The environment needed to anchor a speaker program that included sitting governors, former cabinet officials, and national media figures.
With 75 exhibiting organizations and 58 speakers across 25+ sessions over two days, every production decision carried weight. There was no room for a setup that felt generic.
- Single main stage built for 3,000-person capacity
- 150 exhibit tables across Halls D & E
- 75 exhibitors integrated without visual fragmentation
- 25+ sessions across two full days of programming
- High-profile speaker requirements: Gov. Cox, Nikki Haley, Peyton Manning
- National media coverage demanding camera-ready production
Services Delivered
In The Event brought every production discipline under one roof — eliminating the coordination overhead that typically fragments large conference builds.
The Execution
In The Event approached the Summit as a complete environment build — not a collection of separate AV, staging, and decor services, but a unified visual system where every element worked in concert. Stage architecture, lighting cues, sponsor integration, and wayfinding were designed as a single system from the outset.
A 152-panel Aluvision LED wall anchored the custom 64' × 24' × 4' main stage — scaled to fill a hall that seats 3,000, while remaining tight enough to hold the room during a fireside conversation. A 4-screen projection system and three-camera broadcast setup kept every session production-ready from source to screen.
- Custom 64' × 24' × 4' main stage build
- 152-panel Aluvision LED video wall
- 4-screen projection system (2× 11'×20', 2× 9'×16')

- Three entrance arches + custom 5' foam logo installation

Fireside Chat
Peyton Manning on the main stage — the LED backdrop and intimate two-chair configuration showing the stage's range across keynote scale and close-format conversation.
How We Built It
From the first truck on-site to the last case loaded out — a 4-day production window executed without a single day of overlap with the event itself.
Two days to build a summit from scratch. Custom stage construction, 152-panel LED wall, lighting hang and rigging, full AV infrastructure, 15-counter registration build-out, three entrance arches, and venue-wide signage — complete before the first attendee arrived.
Two full days of live programming. Audio, video, lighting, cameras, graphics operators, and stage management on-site concurrently — supporting 25+ sessions and 58 speakers without a single configuration change between formats.
Full teardown the same evening the event closed. Stage, LED wall, rigging, registration, arches, and all equipment loaded out in a single overnight window — the Salt Palace returned to baseline by midnight.
