Tyson LaSpina, Sales & Operations Manager of In The Event
Tyson LaSpina
Vice President of Operations

Tyson LaSpina was born and raised in the event industry, beginning his career over 15 years ago with In The Event. Starting as an event technician in the warehouse, Tyson was able to learn everything in the industry from the ground up. He then moved on to serve as Warehouse Manager, overseeing all event related inventory, operations and logistics. Moving into his role as Operations Manager, Tyson oversees the warehouse inventory, company operations and event technician and sales staff. He offers engineering guidance for event design, logistics and overall production execution.

Dawn Lynch, Warehouse Manager/Technical Director of In The Event
Dawn Lynch
Director of Warehouse Operations

Dawn brings to the ITE family her experience in Production Management, Technical Direction, Stage Management, Show Calling/Voice of God, and demonstrated skills in Audio Engineering, Lighting Design, and Video Editing. Dawn comes from a theater background, volunteering at local community theaters, as well as being the former Technical Director of the Ed Kenley Ampitheater. Dawn also has a background in broadcast, having previously worked as a Floor Producer for Fox KSTU. Dawn is a graduate of the University of Utah.

Executive Assistant

Having learned the diverse language of the event industry, from the realm of catering and entertainment to the multifaceted world of event production and design, Kayleen has become an invaluable asset. Her career has been characterized by consistent collaboration with management, equipping her to skillfully manage the nuances of ‘other duties as assigned.’

Drawing from her background in business and event planning, Kayleen has excelled in her role as the Executive Assistant at In The Event. She has a special knack for creating impactful company-culture experiences that resonate both within the team and across the organization.

Away from the office, her life is a blend of adventure and artistic exploration. She enjoys rock climbing, delving into Tahitian and Hawaiian arts, cooking for her friends and family, and hiking with her dog, Cora.

Jennifer Hollm
Director of Events

Jennifer has been an Account Executive at In The Event since 2018. Jennifer received her Bachelors of Science in Tourism and Events Management from George Mason University in 2012. Her event experience includes tourism, non-profit, weddings, social events, corporate galas, and conferences. She has spent the past 8 years focusing on full-service events with clients based all over the country. She enjoys designing event decor, stage installations, and working with clients to bring their visions to life. Loves graph paper and sharpies.

Bringing extensive experience managing events in both the public and private sectors, Kennedy has the dedication and imagination to turn your dreams into an experience every guest will remember. With a rich background in outdoor events, Kennedy brings years of expertise in planning events around mother natures vast elements. Kennedy’s career with In The Event began as part of the warehouse crew, which gives her a considerable knowledge of our rental inventory. This allows her to plan and think outside the box to create memorable events inside any type of budget. She enjoys walks in the mountains, drinking vanilla chai tea and taking photos of her dog, Georgia.

Karsen is a New England native with a business degree in Event Management from Champlain College. She has a decade of experience in social, corporate and non-profit events with a specialty in weddings. From working at venues and in catering, to sales and marketing, she brings with her an eclectic style, zest and enthusiasm, with a passion for creating memorable experiences to the team! Her joy of being involved in events carries over to her love for calligraphy, creating custom decorated sugar cookies and curating intimate soirees for her friends and family, not excluding themed birthday parties for her lovable pups.

With over a decade in the world of events, Carra brings planning experience from a wide variety of sectors. Her time spent working in collegiate athletics, non-profit fundraising, pharmaceutical marketing, live stage production and social events gives her the ability to approach each event with unique perspective and insight.

At In The Event, Carra’s work as an Account Executive includes designing and producing events for social and corporate clients, managing budgets, vendor contracts and onsite logistics. She enjoys working on a wide range of events and excels at keeping designs on-tread and cutting edge. Serving as the team’s lead floral designer, she enjoys bringing together tone, texture and technique to design one of a kind floral pieces.

When not planning events, Carra loves spending time outside and her favorite way to experience new places is through running.

Shelby Cameron
Mannequin Rental Co. Vice President

Shelby loves turning ideas into reality. She is an avid party planner and host in her personal life which lead her to In The Event. Shelby’s main role is as the General Manager of In The Event’s sister company Mannequin Rental Co. She works with hundreds of exhibitors every year to help them display their products at expos across the country. With her background in sales, marketing, and startup work Mannequin Rental Co. has grown quickly since Shelby joined the team. Even though her main role is with MRC she can often be found setting up events with her ITE coworkers. Outside of the office she can be found doing improv at Comedy Sportz in Provo, UT, skiing, doing photography, or baking with her husband Conner.

Creative Director and Marketing Manager

Jonathan has been creating art since before he can remember, starting with drawing and painting in his younger age. Once he was in high school, he discovered a passion for digital art. Since then, Jonathan has spent years studying the ins and outs of graphic design; including motion graphics and animation. His career at In The Event has opened new windows and challenges for his creativity and he is excited to help clients bring their dream events to life!

Outside of graphics, Jonathan continues to draw and create art. He loves to travel, kayak, camp, spends time with his wife and dog Yoki, and learning new recipes to cook for his friends and family.

Gabby is a key member of our creative team, focusing on motion graphics and 3D design. She brings ideas to life with visually engaging artwork for events and social media, including video and animation for clients that enhances our event experiences. Gabby also supports our SEO and marketing initiatives, ensuring her work aligns with client goals.

With a background in architecture, Gabby has a talent for designing cohesive and navigable spaces that enhance the event experience. Her skills in motion graphics, 3D modeling, and video editing enable her to create captivating visuals that resonate with audiences.

Outside of work, Gabby enjoys spending time with friends and family and staying active through gym workouts, dancing, and kickball. She also loves watching films and exploring the outdoors during the summer. Gabby’s creativity and enthusiasm contribute to the success of the ITE team.

Robert LaSpina

Robert was born and raised in Las Vegas where he earned his degree at "The School of Hard Knocks." He has been involved in the event industry since birth, traveling the world with his family while working in the live events business. His mother was the lead dancer for the original Casino De Paris and his father was producer, director, and choreographer for countless shows on the Las Vegas Strip. With roots like that, it was only natural for him to develop into a leader in the events community.

While in Las Vegas, Robert acted as Executive Director of Hotels for Encore Productions and was responsible for the end-to-end management and support for over 15 major Las Vegas hotels & convention facilities. As head of Encore’s sales and rental division, he played a key role in the development of strategic relationships, ensuring flexible response to an increasingly demanding marketplace. In 2007, Robert relocated to Utah.

Seeing the growth in the event industry, Robert saw the need for additional support services in Salt Lake City, which led him to open In The Event in 2007. Utilizing his unique upbringing and vast career experience, In The Event has filled the gap between creative design and technical execution in the Utah event space for the past 15 years. Later expanding the ITE family to include Business Jaunt and Mannequin Rental Co., Robert has successfully led these three companies as independent pillars and collaborative entities for large projects all over the country.

In The Event is a passion project for Robert that has been a culmination of decades in the industry. When Robert is not working, you will find him in the yoga studio, speeding away on his bike, or partaking in creative activities.
