After blazing trails in the wild west you’ll want to tie up your stallion and grab a drink at the local saloon. Themed events are at their best when all the components follow suit. In our case we made this Google bar eye-catching with a walnut texture and western gear to set the mood.
In the good old days, the liquor of choice was bourbon or rye and for mixing they would use fruit juice local to the region would be used. In this case we went for either lemon or lime juice. This drink is refreshing, easy, and goes great with a western themed party. Here’s the recipe!
3 parts of your favorite bourbon or rye whiskey.
2 parts fresh squeezed lemon or lime juice.
1 part simple syrup.
Throw some ice in a shaker and these three ingredients and shake for about 10 seconds. Serve in a old fashioned glass and garnish with a slice of whichever citrus fruit you chose.
