In The Event has worked with 4Life for the past four years on their conventions, and is in the process of planning the fifth.  We love working with their events team and were thrilled to assist with their 15 year anniversary celebration and the grand opening of the new south building at the company’s Global Headquarters in Sandy, Utah. In The Event provided florals and linens for the opening party.  For the new product store within the new south building, In The Event developed custom LED light displays to spotlight the products arranged in the window displays.  Additionally, one of our LED highboys was customized and used as a podium for speakers, set atop our dance floor mods, during the ribbon cutting ceremony.  We also assembled floral designs for the entryway of the new building. The event was broadcasted live to 4Life offices worldwide.  Speakers at the ribbon cutting ceremony included Utah Senator Orrin Hatch, Congressman Jim Matheson, and Sandy City Mayor Tom Dolan.  Congrats to 4Life on their building expansion!

In The Event works closely with the Hilton Salt Lake City Center for a number of events and we always love working with their fantastic team!  Recently, we worked with them on the Girl Scout’s 100th Anniversary Gala.  The gala was held on Friday, October 12 from 6:30 PM to 11:00 PM at the Hilton Salt Lake City Center.  The dinner began at 7:00 PM in the Grand Ballroom.  In The Event designed the stage in the Grand Ballroom using beaded curtains and sheer fabric draping.  We also designed the room’s centerpieces and used our event decor for the after party held in the Alpine Ballroom.  For the centerpieces, we designed two styles using orchids, one set in a square vase and the other style set in our table top chandeliers atop an LED disc light.  Our seven foot chandeliers were also scattered throughout the room.

In The Event was a proud sponsor of the VIP reception for the grand opening of the new Park City visitor center located in Kimball Junction at the entrance to the Utah Olympic Park.  The new state-of-the-art visitor center had a grand opening celebration on October 4th, with a VIP reception the night before.  Be sure to check out the new visitor center next time you are in Park City! New features include TVs throughout the center showcasing Park City activities and highlights, as well as a projector showing beautiful panoramic views of Park City, one of our favorite places in Utah! In The Event created several lounge areas for the evening with our leather modular furniture and LED coffee tables.  We also provided some of our LED high boys positioned around the food display area.  We were in good company as a sponsor for the evening, as Bill White Restaurant Group provided the food for the event.  To match the ambiance of the fall decor at the food station, In The Event’s modular furniture was programmed to an amber hue.  All of our wireless LED furniture can be programmed to match any color in your decor or event color scheme.  Here are a few pictures from the evening.  Follow us on Instagram to see more pictures from our events!

In The Event was thrilled to be a part of artist John Bell’s The Next Supper at the Utah Museum of Contemporary Art on Friday September, 28.  The Next Supper is a unique dinner party that involves the guests as the artists.  Attendees were invited to the dinner held in UMOCA's Main Gallery and then encouraged to finish Bell's partially completed canvasses on the table using raw materials from the dinner and other items placed on the table.  Bell has hosted several dinner parties like this, including one in Los Angeles’ Chinatown. The evening began with a cocktail hour from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m, followed by an extravagant dinner.  Dinner was created by Chef Ryan Lowder, owner of the Copper Onion, and consisted of New American cuisine including much of Utah's local produce.  The meal was created to provide guests with a unique color palette in completing Bell’s canvases. Bell screen-printed the canvases with text and images that functioned as both incitement for the guests and a background.  Guests used their food and other components on the table, such as wine, candle wax, flowers, name cards, and utensils to complete the canvases; the purpose being to provoke the guest’s reaction to Bell’s art.  Bell served as facilitator for the evening. In The Event provided our seven foot shimmer chandeliers, that hung above the dining table, as well as event lighting.  The Next Supper was a fantastic collaboration between John Bell, Mary Fresques, and Ryan Lowder, and we loved contributing to the evening!

In The Event will be showcasing some of our contemporary wedding designs at the Bridal Extravaganza this Saturday, October 6th at South Towne Expo!  The show begins at 11 a.m. and runs until 5:30 p.m.  In The Event will be designing the stage set up for the fashion shows, with one at 12:30 and one at 3:30.  We’ll also be bringing our decor for the area surrounding the stage. In The Event’s team consists of interior and floral designers, enabling us to seamlessly combine all elements of your wedding.  With our lead designer's background in florals, we can create stunning bridal bouquets and centerpieces for any occasion.  Some event rental items that will be showcased at the Bridal Extravaganza are our LED dance floor, clear aisle, touch screen video towers, and our LED high boys complete with intricate linens.
